SPOTTED ON: July 2012
Baliwag Lechon Manok ATBP in Lau Pa Sat is the first and only branch in Singapore. I was told that scouting for another location is headway, most likely in the East side of Singapore.
They carry a wide range menu, with pork, noodles, chicken, beef, fish, and vegetable dishes. I begin to wonder if all those are available from such a small stall. Calamares, Crispy Pata, Sisig, Pancit Canton, Papaitan, Lechon Kawali, Pork BBQ, Sinigang na Baboy are just some of the Ala Carte Choices. They also have Set meals for individuals and Group.
Choices for their combo meals, each has a different price tag:
- ¼ chicken, veggie, rice
- ¼ chicken, meat, rice
- ¼ liempo, veggie, rice
- ¼ liempo, meat, rice
- ¼ chicken, ¼ liempo, rice
- Fish, veggie, rice
- Fish, meat, rice
- 2 pcs port BBQ, veggie , rice
When I saw a Milkfish Relleno in their counter display, I choose that along with rice as my order. We also tried their vegetable, Pinakbet. Rellenong Milkfish is ok as there is not much raisin inside which I usually remove when eating relleno or embutido. I also like their Relleno as it has ample minced carrots and red bell pepper.
When I come back in Baliwag, I will try their specialty Lechon Manok.
